Read-only. To mark it up, open content/app-inventory.md or .docx (☐ and a Notes line on every item). ⚠ = weak spot, ℹ = information.

The 112 ⚠ lines, sorted by what kind of work they need, plus 82 extra items from notes, open questions and automatic checks. Each item is listed once, under its main group. Tap a group to open it.

🪜 Suggested build order7 waves

Numbers like 1.2 mean group 1, tier 2.

  1. Core Grade 1 lessons with their own checks (12 items: 1.1, 3.1). Lessons 1, 3, 4 and 8 plus their self-checks turn the four most important empty shells into real lessons.
  2. Quick wins, quick questions and reviews (16 items: 5.1, 6.1, 1.5). Small fixes, one-line answers and your review of newly built pages, slotted in while the lessons are being written.
  3. Your videos for those lessons (3 items: 2.1). Film once the lesson text exists, so the video matches the steps.
  4. Rest of the Grade 1 playing lessons (16 items: 1.2, 3.2). Same pattern as wave 1, reusing First Steps drawings.
  5. Polish (15 items: 5.2, 5.3, 4.1, 4.2). Tighten screens, write the About page and fill thin theory text.
  6. Grade 1 story lessons, games, Grade 1–2 theory drawings (34 items: 1.3, 3.3, 2.2). Completes Grade 1 and the youngest theory grades.
  7. Later grades and advanced material (98 items: 1.4, 2.3, 2.4, 3.4, 4.3, 4.4, 5.4, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4). Older students and things that depend on your photos or the online class.

Priority 1✏️ 1. Placeholder content: rewrite with real steps29 items

Lessons that are only an empty shell: a one-line blurb, a "coming soon" step and nothing to actually do. Each one needs real tap-through steps like Lesson 2 "Holding the Violin".

Why priority 1: Children meet these lessons first and they are empty, so this is the biggest gap in the app.

1.1 Core playing skills: Lessons 1, 3, 4, 88

Meet the Violin, Holding the Bow, The Four Strings and My First Scale are what every beginner needs straight after holding the violin.

1.2 Rest of the Grade 1 playing lessons: 7, 6, 5, 98

They build on the core skills, and First Steps already has facts and drawings they can reuse (close fingers, finger map, strings).

Covers equal temperament, just intonation, Pythagorean, meantone, well temperament, and other divisions (19-tone, quarter-tone, shruti, maqam, slendro/pelog) (topic now in the app: 🌀 Temperament I: Slicing the Octave (g1-temperament-1)).also in 6new contentOpen ➜
Priority 2✅ 3. Missing activities and self-checks15 items

Places where a child should do something (tick a check list, play a game, answer a quiz) but there is only a generic check or a "coming soon" card.

Why priority 2: A lesson-specific check is what makes a lesson feel finished, and it is best written together with the lesson in group 1.

3.1 Self-checks for Lessons 1, 3, 4, 84

Write each one together with its lesson rewrite (group 1, first tier), like the Lesson 2 tick list and no-hands challenge.

Priority 3🖼️ 2. Missing media: pictures, videos, audio54 items

Screens that have words but no drawing, video or sound. This includes your own "Mr Zuber explains" videos (marked coming soon) and theory topics about notation that have no staff drawing.

Why priority 3: Pictures and your videos make the lessons usable for 8–10-year-olds, but they need the lesson text to exist first.

2.1 Your own videos ("With your teacher", "Watch Mr Zuber explain")3

Only you can film these, so plan a filming session as each Grade 1 lesson is written.

Priority 4🧭 5. Structure and navigation21 items

Things about how screens fit together: buttons that lead nowhere, cards that should link to something that already exists, pages that are reached by no link, and screens taller than the 1024×768 tablet screen (checked automatically).

Why priority 4: Mostly small, quick fixes, best done after a batch of new lessons because new lessons change screen heights.

5.1 Quick wins10

Priority 5📝 4. Missing or thin text and instructions22 items

Screens that work but whose words are too short, missing a tempo, or list notes without telling the student how to play them.

Why priority 5: These screens already work, and most are for older students, so they matter less than the empty Grade 1 lessons.

Priority 6❓ 6. Waiting for your decision53 items

Things only you can answer: what you mean by a teaching phrase, tempos cut off in the photos, fingerings too small to read, or ideas that need your OK.

6.1 Quick questions (one line each)5

They affect lessons that are already built, so an answer can go straight in.
